Ultrasound Test Shows No Blood Clot

Just in from Dr. Inouye (the oncologist):

“The ultrasound test was unequivocally normal, so we don’t have to do any additional testing to look for a blood clot and there is no need for any blood thinners.”

This is great news, as it means that the pain Rich has been feeling is just the stent, and that can be fixed. We just made an appointment for Rich’s stent removal or replacement next Thursday, July 9. We’re still waiting to find out when and where Rich’s PET scan will take place.

Thank you for your prayers!

Wow thats great news you two – Quite ironic too as my Mother scared the daylights put of us by collapsing and subsequently having a blood clot removed this week at St. Agnes. She is now back home and doing well. Hope you can make it to the event on the 11th! If not, we will all go up and have dinner at Tenaya when you feel up to it…
